Summa Silver has expanded the Mogollon Silver Project in New Mexico with the addition of a large package of claims to the north and west of the Consolidated Extension target.

The new claims cover prospective extensions of several high-grade silver-gold veins that been historically producing but have seen no modern exploration, including numerous prospect pits and trenches.

With these newly staked claims, the 3,886-acre Mogollon Project has increased in size substantially and now covers 65% more land than its previous size of 2,382 acres.

“Although the Mogollon mining district remains underappreciated, we think it has good potential to develop into a classic American mining district,” said Summa Silver CEO Galen McNamara. “Within that context, acquiring mineral rights to more land via inexpensive claim staking was an easy decision, particularly given that the new claims are known to have a number of prospect trenches and remain completely unexplored by modern methods.”

The company is now preparing to resume drilling at the Mogollon Project in September following the successful completion of the Hughes Project drill program.

Summa Silver Corp. is a Canadian junior mineral exploration company. The Company’s interests include the Hughes property in central Nevada and the Mogollon property in southwestern New Mexico.

Summa Silver (SSVR) is currently trading on the TSXV at CA$0.62 per share as of 3:51pm EST.

On the OTCQB, SSVRF is trading at US$0.4841 per share. And in European markets, Summa Silver (Frankfurt:48X) is trading at EUR 0.46 per share.
